Visas

& Passport

You must obtain a tourist visa and passport. More information can be found at https://home.gis.gov.gh/permits-and-visas/

Vaccination

* Ghana requires yellow fever vaccination.

* CDC recommends that travelers going to Ghana take prescription medicine to prevent malaria. Depending on the medicine you take, you will need to start taking this medicine multiple days before your trip, as well as during and after your trip. Talk to your doctor about which malaria medication you should take.

* Individuals arriving in Ghana by air must present a negative COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test conducted by an accredited laboratory in the country of origin no more than 72 hours prior to departure.
